EKG Technician Responsibilities:
EKG Administration: Follow chart orders to correctly administer EKGs (electrocardiograms) for accurate cardiac monitoring.
Holter Monitoring: Prepare patients for 24-hour Holter monitoring and recording to capture continuous cardiac data.
Patient & Procedure Support: Assist patients in setting up for procedures and serve as a communication link between patients and physicians.
Diagnostic Collection: Gather diagnostic information, including EKG strip readings, and assist in the analysis and referral for further testing as needed.
Physician Coordination: Collaborate with physicians regarding referrals, medication therapy, and nutrition to optimize patient care.
Documentation: Facilitate clinical and office-based cardiology notes in compliance with physician directions and industry standards.

The Nationally Certified EKG Technician (CET) credential demonstrates that you have the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary for performing EKG testing, diagnostic analysis, and Holter monitoring.
