This comprehensive 12-week hybrid course combines online learning with live hands-on training and instructional skills evaluations to help students develop a strong understanding of sterile processing procedures, industry standards, and compliance requirements.

eLightenment Solutions prepares students to work in hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, and other healthcare facilities responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing medical instruments and equipment. Students gain theoretical knowledge and hands-on laboratory experience aligned with industry standards and certification requirements.

Professional & Certification Readiness

Develop professional communication, workplace safety, ethical practices, and the knowledge needed to prepare for certification and entry into the sterile-processing workforce.

Instrument Identification

Learn to identify common surgical instruments and equipment and inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, damage, and proper handling.
